Membership Manager
REPORTS TO: Development Director
HOURS: 9 am – 5 pm/Mon. – Fri. – Full time with benefit package (May require some evenings, weekends and travel)
Core Job Description
As part of the Development team, the Membership Manager is responsible for acquiring, maintaining and communicating with members and the fishing community at large. The main duties include management and creative development of:
• Membership Services: Coordinate acquisitions, renewals and appeals; manage and maintain Raiser’s Edge donor database for optimal utilization; review and, if necessary, revise current membership levels and fulfillment process; develop and implement strategies for membership growth; and consistently review the program for potential improvements.
• Public Relations: International Angler quarterly publication, annual IGFA World Record Game Fishes book, Annual Report, Website, E-Newsletters, Social Networks and Media Relations.
• Brand Management: Develop and implement IGFA Brand Management program.
A strong interest in the IGFA mission is preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, marketing or related field.
• Experience with membership services preferred.
• Knowledge of database systems – Raiser’s Edge preferred.
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a team.
• Knowledge of fishing and aquatic environments preferred.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends; possible domestic and international travel.

Events Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Development Manager

Core Job Description
As part of the Development team, the Events Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing fundraising events throughout the organization, ranging from intimate house parties to large galas such as the IGFA International Auction. The Events Coordinator will also implement and maintain several annual online auctions. In addition to the overall planning of events, responsibilities will include: soliciting both item donations and sponsors for fundraising events, entering and maintaining all event related data in the Raiser’s Edge database, ensuring timely and appropriate communications with all event attendees and donors, providing stellar customer service and organizing working event teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, marketing or related field.
• Minimum of three years experience in the Event planning field.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must exhibit excellent attention to detail.
• Knowledge of database systems – Raiser’s Edge preferred.
• Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
• Ability to work independently and also to maintain effective working relationships with others.
• Experience with basic graphic design preferred.
• Knowledge of fishing and aquatic environments preferred.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends; domestic and international travel required.

Development Coordinator

Core Job Description
The Development Coordinator will assist the Development team in a range of fundraising activities including: annual gifts, annual appeals and donor events. The Coordinator will identify, research, and develop action plans for prospects in annual giving and will develop and maintain substantive donor relationships. They will work with the Development Director to coordinate all donor correspondence and follow-up.
The Coordinator will maintain the prestigious IGFA Donor Society database, in addition to organizing special donor events. A strong interest in the IGFA mission is preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
