Donors who support the International Game Fish Association with annual gifts of $1,000 or more are invited to join one of the Donor Societies. Whatever level you choose, you are a vital part of the International Game Fish Association and we sincerely appreciate your generosity.
The involvement of this prestigious group of individual donors reflects a shared belief in the importance of IGFA’s role in the conservation of game fish and the promotion of responsible, ethical, angling practices through science, education, rule making and record keeping.
In the past, the IGFA Donor Society recognized annual donations of $1000 or more and the emphasis was on the annual donation. As of October 1, 2007, we have adapted the IGFA Donor Societies to recognize cumulative donations. As the donations accumulate, the donors have the opportunity to move up to the next donor level while helping the IGFA fulfill its mission and fund many worthy programs and initiatives.
In recognition of their generous support, all donors will receive a lapel pin, an engraved plaque on the IGFA Donor Society Wall located in the IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame & Museum, recognition in the International Angler, the IGFA World Record Game Fishes book, in the Annual Report and on the IGFA website at www.igfa.org and as each new Donor Society level is reached, a special commemorative gift.
Contributions at the Ambassador’s Society level or higher will receive a naming opportunity in the IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame & Museum.
