IGFA - Grand Slam Clubs
IGFA has many different Grand Slam clubs
to honor the outstanding accomplishment of multiple catches of a designated
species by one angler in a single day. To qualify for a Grand Slam, the angler
must catch at least three of the species. To qualify for a Super Grand Slam, the
angler must catch four of the species in a single day. Listed below are the
various Grand Slam clubs and their species (click on the links to see a list of
current club members):
OFFSHORE Grand and
Super Grand
– blue marlin, black marlin, striped marlin, sailfish, swordfish or spearfish
INSHORE Grand and
Super
Grand – bonefish, tarpon, permit, snook
MEDITERRANEAN Grand and
Super Grand – swordfish, spearfish, albacore and bluefin tuna
ATLANTIC OFFSHORE Grand and
Super Grand
– bluefin tuna, yellowfin tuna, bigeye tuna or mako shark (billfish may be
substituted for any one species)
ATLANTIC INSHORE Grand and
Super Grand – striped bass, bluefish, weakfish, Atlantic bonita and
little tunny
PACIFIC OFFSHORE Grand and
Super Grand – bluefin tuna, yellowfin tuna, bigeye tuna and any
billfish
PACIFIC INSHORE Grand and
Super Grand – white seabass, yellowtail, halibut, dorado
NORTH PACIFIC Grand -
Dolly Varden, Steelhead/Rainbow Trout, and Chinook Salmon.
TUNA Grand and
Super Grand
– yellowfin, bluefin, bigeye, albacore.
BOAT
Grand and Super Grand

Club Members receive a personalized certificate. To participate, anglers must
complete a club application. There is a $50 (US) fee for the Grand Slam Clubs.
