Captain Mark Zaskey

Mark Zaskey has lived and fished in South Florida for over thirty years. During that time, he has built a reputation as an expert in fishing from bridges and beaches as well as back country fishing. For several years now, Mark has specialized in snook fishing and is one of the best snook fishermen in Florida . He has landed over 500 Snook on artificial baits, with over 100 of those fish weighing 30 pounds or more. His largest snook to date measured 54 inches in length, with a girth of 34 inches. According to the length/girth formula, this fish weighed over 42 pounds. That fish, along with all of his other "over slot" fish, were successfully released. Mark is a strong believer in the conservation and management of our fish stocks and strives to impress the importance of conservation on his students.
Mark specializes in teaching anglers his personal method's for catching snook, tarpon and other species from bridges, spillways and beaches and strongly believes his techniques will greatly improve his students' overall fishing ability. He is always excited and willing to help others become the best anglers they can be.
