IGFA Clubs - 25 lb Snook Club
Any angler that submits an application for the club and documents such a catch will receive a beautiful, full-color certificate for framing, plus an embroidered snook jacket emblem. Eligible species include all snook, Centropomus spp. All 25 lb catches, past and present are eligible as long as they can be documented and have been caught in accordance with IGFA rules. Snook fishermen will not have to kill their catch to be eligible for the 25 Pound Snook Club. Snook may be weighed in the boat, photographed and released alive. Scales should be certified for accuracy prior to the weighing or as quickly after the weighing as possible. (IGFA will certify small portable scales for members). Anglers wishing to register their 25 lb or larger snook catches with IGFA should fill out a 25 Pound Snook Club application form (see the link below) as completely as possible and send it to IGFA with a photo of the catch and a registration fee of $25 to cover postage, handling and cost of the awards. It is not necessary to submit a line sample to be eligible for the 25 Pound Snook Club.
