Bass Pro Shops, IGFA and Broward County Parks South Florida Junior Classic

Join the IGFA, Bass Pro Shops and Broward County Parks for shoreline bass tournaments throughout the year.  The tournament locations rotate among four Broward County Parks. Youth through the age of 16 are eligible to fish.  Points are given to every participant and winners. The winner of Classic tournament will win a Pond Prowler and an invitation to fish in the 2006 Mercury/IGFA Junior Angler World Championship.

2006 Mercury/IGFA Junior Angler World Championship

Since it's inception in 2002 the Mercury/IGFA Junior Angler World Championship has been a resounding success. The championship attracts over 40 anglers per year who have proven their abilities in qualifying events hosted throughout the world. The anglers compete for two days fishing from center counsel boats in the waters off of Key West , Florida . Both inshore and pelagic species are targeted in this all release tournament. The format of this championship promotes the importance of conserving our natural resources and good sportsmanship in all who participate.


 

SEPTEMBER 16, 2006

10th Annual IGFA Dania Beach Junior Angler Tournament

The International Game Fish Association will hold the ninth annual IGFA Dania Beach Junior Angler Tournament on September 17th, 2005 at IT Parker Park in Dania Beach. The tournament is open to angler 16 years old and younger.
