Fishing Day Camp

Catch the Action During School Closure Days!

IGFA Fishing Day Camps are back for the 2017-2018 school year!
BOTH freshwater and saltwater fishing experiences will be offered AGAIN for Day Camps!

Recreational fishing is a great way to get children back outdoors. IGFA fishing day camps accomplish just that and are available for girls and boys ages 7 – 12 during school closure days! IGFA provides campers the unique opportunity to have fun while gaining important knowledge of local wildlife and habitats and ethical angling practices to reconnect with nature and become stewards of the environment. Campers will spend their day learning basic and advanced fishing techniques, knots, conservation methods, fun facts about ecosystems, flora, and fauna, and then put their skills to the test by fishing! Again for this year IGFA will be offering BOTH freshwater and saltwater fishing day camps! All rods, bait, and tackle are provided! All fishing is catch and release for conservation purposes. Each day camp can accommodate a maximum of 35 campers so be sure to sign up early! Pre-registration is required
