2015 Gil Keech Recipient
Ken Fraser

Ken Fraser owns one of the most iconic world records in heavy tackle angling - the 1,496 lb All-Tackle record bluefin tuna. However, Fraser’s heavy tackle prowess extends far beyond this one catch as he continues targeted some of the world’s largest game fish for decades. Fraser served as an IGFA Representative for years, where he was a strong supporter of IGFA’s mission and establishing a recreational catch-and-release fishery for bluefin tuna in Nova Scotia.

2015 Bob Herder Recipient
Pamela Basco

Very few anglers have an angling resume that can compare to Pamela Basco. As an angler, she has 17 light tackle IGFA world records to her name, on some of the world’s most prestigious saltwater gamefish. In addition to her angling achievements, Basco has also been a strong conservationist and has served and supported several organizations including the IGFA (where she served as a Trustee), IWFA (where she served as President), CCA and TBF.
